Mission Statement and Vision
Mission
To present, nurture and promote the arts within Drogheda and its surrounding area.
Droichead Arts Centre is an active member of Drogheda Cultural Enterprises, a dedicated enterprise for the network of current and new professional organisations in the Drogheda area which will support promote market and develop Drogheda cultural product to audience locally nationally and internationally. Members include, Calipo Theatre and Film Company, Drogheda Borough Council Arts Office, Highlanes Gallery, Millmount Museum and Upstate Theatre Company. In 2007, as a result of Louth Leader funding DCE particpated in Startegic Management and Sponshop Development Training. Louth Leader also invested in the development of this website and in the design of our Lenabh 2007 Programme.
Vision
To be a principle driver for the arts in Drogheda and surrounding regions, developing expertise in identified art forms and to be recognised for an innovative approach to programming which meets the needs of our community.
