Join the film club and reap the benefits of discounted tickets to see some of the best cinema from around the worlds in a cosy theatre environment with other people who share your interest.

Droichead Film Club/Society continues to bring the very best awarding winning cinema from around the world to its members. The aim of the society is to provide film buffs in the Drogheda area with access to high quality cinema that may not be available through local commercial outlets at an affordable cost. The society also aims to provide an opportunity for up and coming local film makers to showcase their work.

Membership and ticket prices

You can choose to pay €36 per season for 9 films OR €8 per screening. Students, OAPS of Droichead pay €25 and a family ticket is €45.

Silver Screen Club

The Silver Screen Club takes place once a month on Tuesday afternoons and features a selection of classic films. Admission is free to anyone over 55 and existing film society members.

It’s €3 admission if you are ‘unlucky’ enough to be younger! Why not pick your day off to coincide with the silver screen and enjoy a lazy day in front of the big screen. Enjoy coffee from our cafe and soak into the comfort of our new seats and refurbished theatre.

For Schools
